What to Expect
Preaching
We believe the Bible is God’s Word, filled with truth, instruction, help, and wisdom for living. We believe all of us, using normal rules for reading and understanding any literature, can read and properly interpret the Bible. In every service, one of our pastors opens, explains, and applies God’s Word in a way that is understandable and applicational. We preach following an approach called expository preaching, which means that the content of the sermon is neither our wisdom, nor the world’s, but the passage we are preaching from the Bible, as we seek to hear from God. Normally, the weekend preaching is done by working verse by verse through books of the Bible.
Worship
We love musical worship and have it in all our services. The instruments, voices, songs, and music are planned to be a high quality, contemporary expression of passionate and involved worship of the Triune God: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Prayer
Each week at Redemption, there are hours of prayer behind the scenes, in our small groups, young adults, youth, as well as pre-sunday service and after personally with any who ask. If you are burdened to pray, we have people who meet before our 9:00am Sunday service to pray for God to work in the hearts of His people and to reach the lost. Please join us any Sunday from 8:00-8:30am in our board room.
Kids
Parents can feel at ease and free to enjoy the service knowing that their child is being cared for by carefully trained and screened individuals who are happy to serve you in this way. Our Kids Ministry provides care for children in Nursery through to Grade 5.
